Here at Same but Different, we use the arts for positive social change. Whilst our work is varied we have primarily worked with those affected by disability and rare disease which is an area of interest as several members of the team have lived experience.
Recognising that there is much talk about the cost of living crisis we understand how hard it is for our community and want to explore how it affects people specifically who have or care for someone with a rare disease or disability. We know your needs can often be unique and are not always highlighted in policy or the media.
We are reaching out to charities and support agencies to help us build the true picture of what help is needed more, who needs the support and what kind of help is important. Our aim to build a multimedia one-stop hub, including signposting our communities to the right support and advice. Our aim is to help support people as best we can.
